چکیده

We use multilinear maps to provide a solution to the long-standing problem of public-key broadcast encryption where all parameters in the system are small. In our constructions, ciphertext overhead, private key size, and public key size are all poly-logarithmic in the total number of users. The systems are fully collusion-resistant against any number of colluders. All our systems are based on an O(logN)-way multilinear map to support a broadcast system for N users. We present three constructions based on different types of multilinear maps and providing different security guarantees. Our systems naturally give identity-based broadcast systems with short parameters.

Adaptively Secure Broadcast Encryption with Small System Parameters

We build the first public-key broadcast encryption systems that simultaneously achieve adaptive security against arbitrary number of colluders, have small system parameters, and have security proofs that do not rely on knowledge assumptions or complexity leveraging. Our schemes are built from either composite order multilinear maps or obfuscation and enjoy a ciphertext overhead, private key siz...

Revocable Hierarchical Identity-Based Encryption from Multilinear Maps

In identity-based encryption (IBE) systems, an efficient key delegation method to manage a large number of users and an efficient key revocation method to handle the dynamic credentials of users are needed. Revocable hierarchical IBE (RHIBE) can provide these two methods by organizing the identities of users as a hierarchy and broadcasting an update key for non-revoked users per each time perio...

Identity-Based Key Aggregate Cryptosystem from Multilinear Maps

The key-aggregate cryptosystem (KAC) proposed by Chu et al. in 2014 offers a solution to the flexible access delegation problem in shared data environments such as the cloud. KAC allows a data owner, owning N classes of encrypted data, to securely grant access to any subset S of these data classes among a subset Ŝ of data users, via a single low overhead aggregate key KS . Existing construction...

Graph-Induced Multilinear Maps from Lattices

Graded multilinear encodings have found extensive applications in cryptography ranging from non-interactive key exchange protocols, to broadcast and attribute-based encryption, and even to software obfuscation. Despite seemingly unlimited applicability, essentially only two candidate constructions are known (GGH and CLT). In this work, we describe a new graphinduced multilinear encoding scheme ...

An Attribute-Based Anonymous Broadcast Encryption Scheme with Adaptive Security in the Standard Model

In broadcast encryption schemes, a distribution center broadcasts an encrypted message to a subset S chosen from a universe of receivers and only the intended users are able to decrypt the message. Most broadcast encryption schemes do not provide anonymity and the identities of target receivers are sent in plaintext. However, in several applications, the authorized users’ identities has the sam...
